About Us
Jon Aikele, President and CEO of Roofmax, had his first construction experience at the age of 8, when he did miscellaneous jobs for the people who were building his family’s home. Probably to keep him busy, more than anything, the people building his home paid Jon to sweep and clean up the job site. He got involved in roofing full-time after graduating from college and in 1987 he opened Roofmax in Concord.
Roofmax is a full-service roofing company licensed by California as both a Roofing Contractor (C-39) and General Building Contractor (B). Because of this expertise in numerous construction areas, Roofmax has the license and experience to handle any issues that can, and often do, arise during the process of roof replacement or repair.
Experiences from past years have included new home construction, home additions, electrical panel upgrades, siding, windows, raising building to redo foundation, pitch changes, kitchen and batch remodels, painting and much more. A dedicated project manager remains on each job from start to finish and acts as a personal liaison between the construction crew and the homeowner. When the project is finished, Roofmax’s Zero Defect Inspection will ensure that no detail has been overlooked. Add to that the fact that Roofmax offers the best roofing warranty in the country, and there is simply no reason to go anywhere else.
With our ongoing training Roofmax has recently been certified with General Electric to install their Photo Voltaic Solar Panels. G.E. is very conservative when embarking into new business opportunities, they chose to only use Certified Roofing Installers because of the potential risks associated with roof top solar installation.
